Nui Thi outpost viewed from Binh Tan.

Nui Thi was an observation post and was located on top of the hill immediately south of Binh Tan where its inhabitants
had a commanding view of the eastern Nha Trang Valley floor.  From this vantage point, team members could direct
artillery or air support anywhere in the valley in defense of the city.

OP Nui Thi . . . looking northeast.
Hon Tre Island can be seen in the upper right corner.

View from OP Nui Thi . . . looking north northeast.
The barbed wire seems out of place with such a view.

The view from OP Nui Thi was spectatular . . .
but, the quarters were basic.

New quarters under construction . . . with one carpenter
showing more than his building skills.
