This is the French fort that was home to Detachment A-502.
The picture was taken out the door of a 281st assault helicopter
during a photo recon mission. Orientation is west to east, with the bottom being west. The left is north and the right is south. A-502's portion of the fort is located along the southern perimeter or right side of this photograph. Click on the picture for a close-up of the compound. |
