Elementary Tutor Atlanta: My Bachelor of Science Degree is in Elementary Education and was
earned at Auburn University. I hold teaching certificates in the states of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
Additionally, I hold a certificate as an international teacher in New Zealand and have tutored at the respected
Sylvan Learning Centers.
My experience includes teaching at challenging inner-city schools as well as at schools in affluent neighborhoods.
As noted above, I was invited to teach internationally where I was engaged in continual cultural exchange with
students, teachers, administrators and local townspeople. Since my experience also includes teaching an autistic
child, I feel well prepared for the many varied challenges a teacher can encounter as a tutor.
I am currently teaching at McLendon Elementary school in DeKalb County, where I enjoy teaching a uniquely varied
group of children . . . some who don't speak English.
